Recruit
Goodland FCCLA has several events throughout the year to recruit new members.
~ The first recruiting event of the year is at our school's open house. We have a booth with former projects and competitive event boards set up to share information about FCCLA.
~ The next recruitment event is our back-to-school bash. Everyone in the school is invited to attend an FCCLA social. We mix information and fun by having round tables and a game!
~ Another way we recruit members is by hosting a "recruit-a-member" challenge with our members. Whoever gets the most new people to sign up for FCCLA wins a prize!
~ The final recruitment event we host is a "bring a friend" social during FCCLA week. Members are invited to bring a friend or a few to our social so we can gauge interest for the next year and share what our chapter is about!
Retain
As a chapter, we also strive to retain current members! Here are some ways we do that.
~ The main way we retain members is by going to conferences and participating in competitive events. By offering new experiences to members, the organization keeps them interested and active!
~ Another effort we make to retain members is by hosting several socials throughout the year. By incorporating fun, bonding moments for our chapter, members build lasting relationships in FCCLA.
~ Finally, we keep members informed so they do not forget about the organization! We consistently post on social media, GroupMe, and Schoology to keep students updated on upcoming events, socials, and conferences!
Recognize
We are very proud of the Goodland High School FCCLA's achievements, and we always recognize them!
~ Our biggest recognition event is the end-of-year banquet. We recognize the past awards received by members during the past years' leadership conferences, outgoing and incoming officer teams, and member-voted student awards!
~ To recognize members throughout the year, we consistently post on both the Goodland FCCLA and the High School's social media pages with updates of the achievements made by our members!
Membership Dues, Costs, and Deadlines
All membership dues are due by January 31st,
But it can be paid off by participating in different chapter fundraisers.
At Goodland High School FCCLA, we have three levels of membership:
Level 1: Local Membership - $10
~ Can participate in all local events such as community service, fundraisers, and socials!

Level 2: District Membership - $20
~ Can participate in all local events such as community service, fundraisers, and socials!
~ Can attend any events put on by District A such as the Fall Leadership Conference and Districts!
​
Level 3: State and National Membership - $30
~ Can participate in all local events such as community service, fundraisers, and socials!
~ Can attend any events put on by District A such as the Fall Leadership Conference and Districts!
~ Can attend any Kansas State FCCLA event, such as the State Leadership Conference!
~ Can attend and National FCCLA Event, such as the National Leadership Conference!
~ Can participate in any level and style of competition!
